Matso42, if there are 3 defense chambers with offense chambers behind that corner I will always backpedal, its costing your Commander Res to keep healing you and none for me, If I have adreniline and regen then its quick heal and 4 to 5 more acid rockets flying your way. The Blink thing is a great idea but I have major problems having to hit different keys to blink then attack quickly. Just like the skulk with the leap bite, I dont want some script to switch but its still a pain. Marine press trigger, jump about reload, Fade, run aim correctly in distance press 2, press fire to blink (hope you did it right), press 1 for claw attack, press fire to attack. Im just too damn old and my reflexes are too slow for that.

As it stands bile bomb is bugged to hell and back. It does fine vs marines, but usually for most people it does NO damage to buildings. There were screenshots fgrom 1.01 patch with dmg draw turned on showing it do like 3 dmg or something.
Eg: today i was a fade, took out yhalf the turrets of an outpost, got behind the factory and started clawing it. Another fade came along and started chucking bile bombs over my head right at the turrets. After i took down the factory, i walked up to the turret that had taken 15+ direct BB hits and it had lost no health (same with all the others).
I've also encountered problems with explosive weapons doing no or unreliable damage:
Example 1: On a 1.01 server. I was a fade and attacked a marine outpost for about 15 minutes with bilebomb and not a single one got destroyed. Then 2 other fades showed up and we finally got all the turrets destroyed with acid rocket and claws.
Example 2: On a 1.02 server. I was a skulk and found a group of 5 light armored marines building a resource tower. I started xenocide and leaped in the middle of them landing on the head of one marine. BOOM. None died. I returned to them quickly after I've respawned and found them setting up the first turret. I did exactly as before (I even landed on the head of a marine) and again not a single dead marine (I heard a marine yelling for medpacks, though).
Example 3: On a 1.02 server. I was a HA marine with GL sitting behind a wall of turrets while reloading at the local armoury. Suddenly a fade appeared and ran through the corridor towards an undefended resource tower. I followed him and found him clawing the res tower. I was standing behind a wall besides the res tower and was able to shoot my grenades through some gaps in the wall, so they exploded exactly on the res tower without allowing the fade to see me. After 12 grenades going off the fade was still clawing at the res tower, so I decided to run around the corner and killed him with 3 direct grenade hits.
Example 4: On a 1.02 server. We've been sieging the marine homebase for some time and I was a fade throwing bilebombs at the forward marine turrets from a nearby corner. This time bilebomb did damage buildings normally. A second fade joined me at my side of the siege and we kept killing assaulting marines and walls of turrets until my mate got heavily wounded. He retreated around the corner into the hallway, where a gorge started a defense chamber. Just as the fade passed by, the chamber got hit by a siege turret, killing him and the gorge. I was standing on the wall without suffering damage. From this point I lobbed my acid at the marines without getting trouble from the siege cannon. The lonely defense chamber didn't seem to get damaged by the siege cannon. Suddenly I've got hit by the explosion and died, although I wasn't closer to the def chamber than before. While I was busy evolving to Onos the defense chamber was knived to death by a marine.
