Cl/refresh Whatever Violation?

<div class="IPBDescription">what is that?</div> I get kicked from a server each time the map changes and I get a message stating that I have made a "cl/update rate max/min violation" (will try to get the correct text ASAP). Any ideas? server is NSFI #1 (europe)

    type into console
    cl_cmdrate note down what it says
    cl_updaterate note down what it says
    rate not what it says

    the serv claims I have a violation in 'cl_updaterate min/max'. it is set to 30 at default

    it claims the violation only on this serv (but my game does crash on almost all others quite often)

    It's probably a plugin set to inforce higher updaterates. Avoid the server. Your rates are fine.

    atleast it has less plug-ins and add-ons than voogru servers.
    and I will continue playing there anyways... maybe I'll just experiment with rates and see what works

    u can find your rates stuff in your CONFIG file in the ns folder..
    the file called "config"
