Well, it's been a long time, but here's your new version of ns_enceladus. I'm sorry i can't give you a proper changelog but because previous versions had no version numbers (very stupid, i know) i have no idea wich ns_enceladus (if any) is played out there. And, franky, even i don't know everything that changed since the last release. It just took to long... work ate all my time and windows ate the few notes i took about some smaller changes. At least i didn't lose any important files this time <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
But this will be a fresh start. From now on, ns_enceladus will have version numbers and i will try to keep record of any changes that may happen in future.
That said, the most important things (as far as i remember) in this release are:
- Pipeline-Hive completly rebuild, renamed to Omega Cluster
- 2 additional resnozzles near Hive Chamber and Omega Cluster
- removed and/or fixed everything that didn't work or was buggy in previous versions (mainly the useless and not working weldable near Maintainance Nozzle)
- took care of (hopefully) all HOMs in the map
- added as much detail as the compilers would let me (not that much)
- added some new vents here an there

I must have missed the thread when it was first created. I'm downloading now and I will produce some comments on it later on tonight! Although on another note, I like the newer and what seems darker lighting in this version.

Few bugs, from the comm chair, you can drop objects ON TOP of the roof.. Here's an exmaple

TBH, I think this map will heavily favour marines with the wide-open hallways, but you have mixed in a lot of really nice cover elements.

It looks (from the layout) like you've thought a fair bit about how to structure this to allow Aliens to get between the Hives quickly and Marines to slowly make their way towards one of the Hives to lock it down. The south is a long route and the other two Hives pretty much need welding for the Marines to access them via the shortest routes.
I'm not sure what'll happen when JPs are available, or how well the Hives are connected for Gorges. It will be a very different style of play to the generic map layout, and people probably won't like it at first, but to the naysayers I'd say give it a good few rounds before you start criticising anything. This type of map will require some adjustment.
It seems like Marines will have to play this as a group and turtle towards the Hive of their choice. Splitting up and going for multiple Hives or res nodes in opposite directions probably won't be very productive as Aliens will be able to cover the large distances more quickly. I'd definitely say that Aliens can't afford not to parasite, though.
My advice to you, Pepe, is to check the vents to make sure that the important ones can't just be mined to cut off Alien Hive-Hive/Hive-RT movement. Also be aware of Gorge and Onos movement options and edit the map accordingly if needed.

I think there should be a more marked light variation, its a bit too fullbright in places, ill show some examples later.

Just shape a transparent infestation texture over it if you have the polys to spare.
