    No it was actually a bit of extra code they included in 3.0b4a. Your armor becomes increasingly absorbant with every point of ping over 100. So if your a fade with 200 ping its like having 250 armor, or free cara. Its a lag shield that the dev's included to balance for playing ns over long distances.

    Do you actually have a offcenter crosshair for the shotgun? If not none of those shots in west actually hit and the first shot in the end scene.

    Nice showing the lag though, other clips were good.

    High ping does give you an advantage in some areas..., you forgot to show the parts where high-pingers kill fades around 3-4 corners, or where skulks throw their teeth at a marine and bite him from 30 feet away...

    it gives you a gigantic advantage if you learn how to aim behind the model correcty actally, skulk steps out to parsite? just keep firing he's down to 20 hp lerks or fades? they can step out for .2 seconds and they'll still be down to 50 health.

    plus, what's easier, aiming where they ARE or where they WERE?

    on the whole, it's eh against skulks, can be good or bad depending on what they'r doing, but its GREAT against fades and lerks who are constantly going in and out.

    High ping may be annoying at times to play against, but it is definately much harder to play with. I've never seen anyone play better with high ping than with low ping... competitive players just need an excuse for when they lose.

    "GG no reg FTW..@"

    It was funny seeing exi.nadagast own on the NSA vet server, every vet on there was complaining..

    These guys own me every time, but I just chalk it up to skill and not bugs/lag.

    The guy in the video had 100 ping, that is not horrible at all. And even if he had sub 50 ping he probably would have done the same damage, if not more.

    Maybe its just me, but when I lag my game has always suffered, and that includes all HL mods, not just NS.

    The fades would die even if you had a low ping... just not around a corner.

    When we play good american clans we die just as fast as when we play good aussie clans. Try demoing yourself facing a euro or aussie, seeing as we don't use scripts to bhop we do it abit differantly and it can be hard to aim at if you're not used to it (I found it was hard to aim at americans when I started playing with them because of how they moved).

    And yes rep is right, we can only shoot what we see even on high ping. We may still be able to see you after you go around a corner, but we don't see you for awhile when you come around at us.
