<div class="IPBDescription">about my computer</div> One: for some reason this computer's desktop has been acting all weird. It wont refresh itself at all. If I delete something off the desktop for example, it won't be gone. If I try to delete it again (like the confusion forced me when it begun) it tells me "IT'S NOT THERE YOU TARD" and then when I refresh it's all goner. So everytime I delete something off my desktop today it's "Delete, F5". Annoying as heck, how do I fix this?

Second: What programs are there that I could see pretty much every detail about my computer hardware.. for example I have no idea about this motherboard's details.. like port.. speeds.. erm.. what memory is this compatible with and stuff. If there are such programs I'd love to know!

Third: Thanks!

One: Check if there is any programs running on the background who doesnt suppose to be in the background.
Maybe it's spyware thing or something like that.
I havent got this problem, so i dont know much about this.

    Second: I use <a href='http://www.cpuid.org/download/cpu-z-129.zip' target='_blank'>CPU-Z</a> and <a href='http://mbm.livewiredev.com/' target='_blank'>MBM 5</a>.
I use CPU-Z to get more details about my CPU/Memory model etc, and MBM 5 for my motherboard and check temperature.

    CPU-Z Screen:

OrganoX I just installed the MBM 5 but I setting it up is difficult, with all these sensors and such. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

You must know what moderboard you got.
Or, you just press next all the way and install it.

To check with moderboard you got, you can go in to Windows hardware system and look around little.

After you installed it, there is a Config Wizard in the start menu.
Test it and check which moderboard you got.

I found my moderboard via Windows hardware system and there was 2 options in the Config Wizard, so i marked it and it was it.

Failing MBM5, use Everest (<a href='http://www.lavalys.com' target='_blank'>Lavalys Website</a>), that'll tell you EVERYTHING about your PC in one interface. I use it at work when people have problems with their PC, they email me an Everest report, I open it back up in Everest, and it tells me everything I need to know about their system...
