<div class="IPBDescription">plz help</div> I have the retail version of cs and play cs all teh time. I downloaded ns right when it came out. I played it a couple times but now for some reason everytime i try to connect it gives me this msg:
You cannot connect to a server which is operating under a different protocol version.
What does that mean? Also how do i fix it?

Ok, i've done search on "protocal version" and came up with some other posts which most have not been answered either. In one of the posts however someone suggested upgrading CS to the newest patch.
