Yo, can someone PLEASE give me the link to the newest mod of NS?! I've looked everywhere and I can't find it! It's driving me INSANE!!! I love the game, but I can't play it.. I almost wanna cry...

    That's ONLY 3.0... There are at LEAST five updates since then.. I'm seeing 3.0.5... Please, if anyone knows how to get an updated version... But thanks for trying.. I may just be stupid and not see the FIVE updates there on the page.....

    I'm sorry to say mate but there is only 3.0 and the server upgrades only go to v3.0.4 atm, im not quite sure if there making v3.0.5 as we speak or 3.1 as we speak, but im sure someone else will post something helpfull.

    the 3.0.x patches were server-side only

    Yeah it should probably say on the download page that the 3.0.x patches are server side and you dont need them. Ah well.

    I can'ty join any games, though. Not even the 3.0's, which is what I'm running. It keeps saying my client dll/fjksdhgkjhgklfdjhnold or whatever differs from the servers..... Just grr.. I really appreciate you guys, and gals, if the case may be.. Helping me.. I hope to get this mess sorted out so I can play that great game again!!!

    I'd recommend uninstalling any versions of NS you may have installed, then try re-downloading and re-installing...

    As someone else mentioned..

    3.0.1/2/3/4/5 are all server side patches, as a client you don't need anything beyond 3.0F

    I do agree that it could be misunderstood and will be working on making the language more clear on the download page...

    Just click that after uninstalling and reinstall with that, ok?

    Oh, and as a side note, perhaps have two seperate links on the files window, one as a huge link for PLAYER FILES, and one for SERVER OPERATOR FILES. Hmm?

    You don't, you just keep its awesomeness around.


    Or delete the "NS" folder in your steam HL1 mod dir.
