Lifeline - Ps2game

Unique idea, but not very popular.
Well I was wondering if any of you played a game called Lifeline before? The game was released a year ago, and basicly to control your character (AKA the character on the screen, you're looking at) you must talk to her (on the headset). Well after looking at game in gamespot, I feel like I try it. So I was wondering if anyone played or heard of this game before, seems really unique (controling the character by talking).

Biggest problem is getting your character to understand you. Even if you talk loud and clear, the game will have trouble understanding you.
IE, when i played, sometimes it would confuse:
"Find cover!"
with
"Reload!"
Thus causing your character to stand out in the open and get her head chopped off.
When you get past the voice issues, its a good game, but theres no replay value.
It's ok... and kind of brought back the old text parse adventures of the Infocom days. So there's that same old frustration of, "Get the paper", "Get the letter", "Get the stationary", "Get the notebook", "Get the white rectangular thing", "GET THE PAGE!" "GET THE SHEET!" ... I find it somewhat fun, but it can be really, REALLY frustraiting. Especially when you're not sure if you used the wrong word or it missunderstood you.
The plot sucks and the gameplay is pretty crappy. I'm not saying it's a terrible game, it just has major problems. It's just the overall design that's flawed. The scenerio is that you're trapped in a control room with access to all the cameras and security on a space station. You have voice communication with this chick. The problem is that the game doesn't let you switch cameras or open doors manually. You're really just controlling her in the most indirect way possible.
If I were to do a game with this same premise, it would be more real time. The chick would have enough AI to get around and do stuff on her own (without being told every command). You would have access to use any camera at any time... alowing you to spot upcoming dangers/aliens. She would fight and flee on her own, but you could give her general suggestions on aggressive or defensive... warn her of flanking enemies... and tell her what rooms she should be looking for.
Overall I don't recommend this game.
