<div class="IPBDescription">Anyone wanna work on one?</div> I want to get a NS skin site going...where its all orginised by weapons and players....With gallerys, downloads, and many outher ideas..
I can do the site work...just content is hard to do byself...

As soon as i get like 2 people intrested on this idea and working i will get the site up that night..
Also if any skining authors want to get hosting there they will be abel 2...i have many a webspace :-D

I really think al Ns players would benefit a skin ( and other.. ) site
Besides , i dont take credit for nothing , as whomever hosts the site , gets the "redit"
I repeat , im willing to administrate if a) im listed as a member of the website team , so i get some credit
b) Im not the only one working on the site
As far as adming downloads of skins, should be hard, the skiner will be incharge of uploading them and adding them as downloads...the site admins will just have to OK them before they will appear on the site.
Anyone good with grafx? Maybe someone can make a logo..
Also after we get the site going, i will contact the NS team again, and ask about maybe being a official skin outlet...
Also as a admin you would have to sometimes do a little test on the skins, and make a comment on weather they are buggie or not.
Anyway i will throw up the temp link for the site a little later so you can get a idea.... in the meantime... lets brainstorm..
like what kind of skin catagorys? Marines, Aliens, Weapons, Maps, ect....what catagorys shall we have?
Would we want forums?
Would we want to do NS news as well?
ect, ect.....
There is always room for people to join the team, but the main admin will be the person who can work the hardest and come up with ideas.

As far as having it's own forums goes, I really don't think it's necessary. These boards already have a perfectly good M&S section, and from past experience, other boards with the same intention as a part of an official board tend to be neglected.

anyway rather than spend the next few weeks building the code for a site, i think we will just use a CMS prodject like PN, much like www.blynk.net. The only thing that is gonna require some hack to the code is getting a upload/download mod 2gether.
If you want to get a temp site 2gether then we can do that......Iam going to start up again here in a min, i might have a link within the hour.
If anoyone is a experenced PHP editor and wants to work on that download/upload mod please email me, im a hack not a coder.....
Also what would make things easer would be that the skinner would have to email us there skin, and we would upload em , and add em to the download catagory with a screenshot...or the author would have to take the screenshot and make the discription...i dono..
anyway yea a simple beta should be up, give me a few.

Now that I think about it, I'm really quite interested in doing reviews for the site.
