<div class="IPBDescription">Tell your own experience so far......</div> So what is your best and most fun game yet playing NS?
For me it has to be a few nights ago, i joined a server that had about 16 players on it, luckily for me i was able to join marines, they had 2 less players so it was fair <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Anyway went into the game and things seemed pretty even, it was not to far from the beginning of the round, also was impressed with the commander, he knew his stuff and got things moving fast enough, not just building but supporting his troops with meds and ammo when needed.
We also had some good marines, very vocal on their comms which always helps both marines and the the comm i think "its there so use it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->"
Anyway we got moving, building up a few res points fast enough, and then taking the first hive, defended that well enough and the comm worked fast, by this time res points were coming in fast, he was upgrading and even though a few skulks got the best of us we were then able to get some heavy fire power and get back into it.
By this time the aliens had moved onto Fades, and while a few of us felt brave enough to charge fades down with just LMG's <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> we took losses but inflicted enough damage to take some down with us "we went down screaming over the mic's <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->"
But what made this game stand out from the rest was that it was never to much onesided, the aliens fought back very well, and although most other games start to tip once either marines get good guns or the aliens get into fade form, none of this happened.
I would say we had pitched battle across the map for about 40 mins, with neither side getting an inch from the other.
But the deciding point was when we the marines started pushing forward, we had all upgrades done by now, and although we were facing a line up of about 6 fades we took them down a bit at a time, with good movement by the marines and careful planning by the comm we pushed onwards to the next hive, taking that down and building as we went, good covering fire from the forward marines while 1 or 2 stayed back building up turrets for us to drop back to.
This is how it ended up, with us moving into more alien guts and slipping up on the mess than ever before, the alien scum had no chance, but I've never seen the aliens give as good as they got, it took us a further whole hour before we got to the last hive, by this time all fades were dead, all they had left was the lerk's and skulks, we had a bit of a shock apon entering their last hive, they had built offensive towers from the floor to the high ceiling, about 15 of them on top of each other, so while we took losses we got them in the end.
What rounded that off for me was the fact that all the team had HA and either Gren's or HMG's, while for myself i went with a Jetpack and LMG, and while they took out the ground units i went flying in and took down 3 Lerk's <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
All in all one of the best games I've even played as marine, both marines and the comm really did work together and get things done, which only showed to work really well as the aliens were no walk over.
Only other game to come close to that was last night, playing as marine we had already lost due to the first comm being slow then walking out on us about 10 mins into the game, aliens got into Onos form and stormed us.
We pretty much gave up but a few of us fought with just our knives, taunting the Onos lol, we didn't kill any but it was so funny, in the end it was just the comm left, we were shouting for him to run, and run he tried, but those damn Onos were to fast and he was swearing his head of as he died, saying these words "I can't even run from these fat arse elephants" ROFL
Those so far are the best 2 games I've had playing NS, no other game comes close to so much fun <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> and thats in 2 weeks or playing it.
So if you read this far then you can tell us what was your best game or most fun. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
