    I wasn't aware there was a problem with F1 and F2 (I don't use them.)

    What's the scoop?

    In the last CS update they made them unusable, when you hit F1 it brought up the shell for the new built in messenger but since it didnt work it just sat in the corner of your screen like a minimized window and you couldnt use your mouse till you closed it <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I manually did the fix and was unable to join any games online until I renamed the file back.

    Sound like you don't have the Visual Basic 6.0 runtime file.
