cya in 2 weeks :3
Ok dokes, tomorrow I fly out to the hot 'n sunny land of tourism; Orlando Florida.

Funnily enough I'll be absent for the next two weeks but before I go I want to ask two important questions that are on my mind.

- Do they sell 'weetabix' in America :p

- Do Nintendo DSs have regional locks or can I buy games over in the US that'll work on my UK one?

those aside, cya in two weeks :D

Apparently, Weetabix is a not a widely-available product/brand in the US. Then again, why go to another country just to eat things you already have at home?

I've got to tell you that Weetabix are very hard to come by outside the UK. Believe me, my mother's hooked on the stuff since she did a trip to England when she was sixteen, and goes to great lengths to obtain it.

In any case, enjoy your time away from the big glowy screen.

    staple...

unless you have problems with other breakfasts exploding on you......

though I could understand that with certain chemicly enriched cereals out there

oh, and weetabix apears to simply be shredded wheat, and THAT you can get in the states (made by kellogs)

so fear not, your bland ceareal is avaliable over here! (though normaly people eat miniwheats, or frosted miniwheats)

Yeah, they're opposites. The longer you leave Shredded Wheat in milk, the better they taste. The longer you leave Weetabix in milk, the worse they taste.

    I just eat an orange.

EDIT: Oh yeah, have a good time in Florida! But it's probably going to be very, very, very hot. I'm in upstate NY and it gets very very hot up here in the summer. We get snow in the winter. Florida's too warm in the winter for snow... So... I don't really know how to prepare for extreme heat... Freeze all your clothes, maybe? Buy one of those little water spray/electric fan combos.

    And enjoy yourself :o

and yeah, Florida gets quite humid in the summer. Just remember to stay hydrated and keep sunscreen on and you should be fine.

lol, to be honest I'll probably be too busy trying every ride I can to go visiting anyone... even there was someone who wasn't over half a day's travel from florida XD

    Last time I was in florida I wouldn't go on most of the rides because I was still young and had only recently suffered the 'escapade' of falling off a ride (mentioned in the 'life on the edge' thread) ^^;

This time I'm gonna make up for it! Space mountain and stuff, here I come :D

Epcot is like the second-best park in Disney. Magic Kingdom = way too kiddie to be enjoyable. I just took a class trip down there in May, we spent basically all of our time either in MGM or Epcot. FYI, the new simulator ride in Epcot is a MUST GO. I forget what it's called, something Mission Space or something like that (not Spaceship Earth, we slept on that. Twice)

Ignore what everyone else is saying, just visit everything and decide for yourself what is good and what is crap. I personally hated animal kingdom, but then if you like little fwuffy aminals you might appreciate it a bit more than I did. I prefered MGM studios purely for the Rock & Roller coaster and the tower of terror.

Fun fact: The tower of terror traumatised my sister. Yes, she was (and is) great big wuss.
  • remiremi remedy [blu.knight] Join Date: 2003-11-18 Member: 23112Members, Super Administrators, Forum Admins, NS2 Developer, NS2 Playtester
I hate roller coasters and stuff, so yes... I like the simulation ones because then I don't get the feeling in my stomach that I hate, and I also of course enjoy the rides where you get to shoot things with lightguns. The waterrides (not the rollercoaster ones) are fun though.

Better watch out, Americans are known to recite John Wayne before shooting you at first sight of tumbleweed.

Plus, if you ask how many pounds something is they'll probably lift the product in their hand and tell you the weight.

Not to mention it IS Florida, and after the 2000 election people just suddenly lost their will to live down around there.

But then again, with temperatures like that I think i'd go crazy, too.
