Here's an example of a rifle he's done for a mod. Why don't we see concepts like that around here? <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

like he said in his video he knows that "lots of people model like this" but he showed his mate off the forums and he was shocked. I would have been to. The first temptation when u model is to use box modelling and then u end up using splines and stuff to get the complicated parts, etc etc.
yea you better be... silly you... going around asking questions... pffft... noob <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> j/k
anyways, glad to see some videotuts.. many people dont wanna read, so lets hope this gets the ns comm some new modlers, so we skinners can get some work ^_^
I've got all but video 7 on my hard drive, I'll see if I can't host them, but it will probably be tomorrow sometime.
I find it works absolutely fine for me.
yep.
...I don't find that kind of modelling weird. It's just like box-modelling but you're adding vertexes instead of extruding (which is kind of same).
Personally I don't like to limit my capabilities to one single method. That's why when I'm modelling I use multiple different methods (that one, splines, box-modelling and so on).
found.

You too, Coltrane, although the mirror is slow for me...
