Natural Selection

<div class="IPBDescription">Problem with Steam</div> Hey guys ^^. I just got steam. And i really really wanna play Natural Selection. Well anyway... ive played the Half-life training thing. And ive downloaded Natural Section from one of the links provided (NS_v3) and installed it. But it doesnt show up in "My games" area. Umm and help would be most apprechiated! Thnx!

    It shouldn't show up under the My Games heading, it should show up under Third Party Games, underneath the My Games section. I have to scroll down to see it when I open the window, which may be why you missed it.

    (Just an FYI: The devs are currently working with Valve to get NS listed under the My Games section, which would mean that you would be able to get the game and all subsequent patches (if there are any) automatically installed just by right clicking on the icon like all the other games. But it's not there yet <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->.)

    Nope not there. I dont even have a "Third Party Games" Topic thingy.
    But also this might help. I have cs 1.5 and all that... and when i go into the older half-life. And click on which mod i want, the Natural Selection on is there, and i can activate it. But that is for the older one. But i have downloaded NS_v3. So it should work on steam. :S!#!@

    I think you got an older version of Half-life... I had similar probs with a Half-Life 1.5 equipped with CS 1.6 before getting a new one. Should be fixed by getting new version...

    make sure that you install it to /half-life, not just /your@e-mail.com
