Well, you've got some badly stretched tex on the right. I'd say put a small cottage, depending on the map description. Could you post what you want done with this map/backstory?

That is the area with the mountains and the lone building. I decided to make it better by adding a 3d envirnoment to it.
Make a 3d skybox with jutting glaciers, mountainscapes, and icicles. Drop your tundra off with a downhill portion and let the skybox of sexyness take over.
me i sujest that if you doing source content, hmm you should do your home work, also a great exsucuss to get out of the house and take a trip, sking, stay in some sort of resort, or if ya live anywere were theres snow fall man stay up and take a look out the window, shore its summer in america but theres other places you can look, all sorts of magasines , people you can ask,
do some home work me i see a man with a glock, in a crazy person place, in the deep cold dead of night, where talking ice and snow over everything frosted windows
you look out a window on a frozen cold winters night
you should have modarate snow cover preassing up the glass creeping and clining into the courners of the tunnels structure, for get the sky box, your talking you cant see 15 feet out there, the people in the other corridor should be a blurie hase
is it a fade of a jp?,
also this area would be a lot colder than most
add a dumbbie door, and make it look like snow has been forced away from this door by shovle, and there are tracks acctuly cut into that tundra(note were not talking a texture i am saying cut boot prints in the snow like some ones walked it)
and as for a kickin easter egg, make the tracks lead over to a visable dune, and melted cut into that dune in a yellow texture is your name : )
throw in a trash can, a broom, frozen with some other piles of junk, and blah blah
he means, add a heavy fog to that place, and make a small incut into the middle, where there is a small hall (about as wide as a person laying down) and create a door there. The door doesn't open, and has some snow around it to make it look as if it was recently used.Outside of it,is a trail of boot prints in the snow, which leads to a visible "snow dune" on snow,in which his name can be made out in yellow letters.
I agree, add some heavy snow, and maybe the sand dune thing.

The dead Onos idea is good but since it's a tundra map, why not go one better. How about putting a frozen heavy and a frozen onos in a stand off, the Heavy has his knife out and the Onos is in the middle of a charge. Maybe gives the hint that the freeze was a flash frost.

I also liked the crashed spaceship idea. You could add a little backstory based off of that crashed ship. You could possibly put some dead body models inside or something.
