    Where are these T's? I've been all over this site, and until Squeal's post, I had no idea that the NS team had any merchandise for sale. Anyone know where this stuff is at?

    Please, oh, please tell me you got a <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> T!!

    "Until we start to see people actually buying some of the merchandise we do offer, we aren't in much of a mood to spend a ton of money up front to have plush toys made for the people who SAY they are going to buy one. "

    I didn't know about the merchandise either until a few days ago in another thread. I'm going to get a NS hat soon. <a href='http://www.cafeshops.com/cp/prod.aspx?p=thensstore.3714118' target='_blank'>This one.</a> And I'm thinking of getting <a href='http://www.cafeshops.com/cp/prod.aspx?p=thensstore.3779464' target='_blank'>this</a> mousepad too. My deathstar mousepad (that has a tie fighter chasing an x-wing in front of it) is so warn out that the soft top material is separated from the spongy underside on the bottom half of it.

    Really should put a link on the site somewhere. If it's too much work to redo the flash, just put a link on the news page.

    Oh, by the way, I'd love a plush gorge. I'd get the gorge t-shirt, but it makes him look so vicious.

    Oh, sorry guys, fair enough. There aren't too many links for the store around at the moment. We advertised it a while back, and there is a link in the news section at readyoom.org site, and there have been numerous posts on it, but posts disappear so fast around here now.

    There will be a store link on the main site soon. We are just waiting until the beginning of next month to fully update the site.

    Anybody else having trouble getting to the NS merchandise site? I keep getting an error page from their server.

    A friend of mine sometimes does this kind of stuff, so I'm sure I can get her to help me design and make it. If I ever get it done, I'll post a pic here for y'all to see. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I'd buy one. Heck, I'd prolly buy a few Skulkies if they turned out well. But of course, they prolly wouldn't look quite 'on' the drawing or in-game model. Which would kinda put me off as well. One reason some places do sample runs, for market testing. But you can't (usually) just walk into a place like that off the street and sign a contract for however many units pending market acceptance.

    Off-Topic: Oh, and the original Harry Potter brooms *did* vibrate. That's why they got to be a cult thing, and racked up all the jokes about parents getting them for their youngest daughter, and their teenage daughter enjoys playing with it too. They quickly pulled the rest of the vibrating ones from the shelves and sent out new ones with the vibration removed. But the PCB still had the leads, last I checked.. they just didn't put the motor or wires in. Can be put back in if you know which type motor to use and where to solder.

    (edit) For an article containing the original Amazon sales text (and a lot of christian witch-hating bigotry), take a peek at:
    <a href='http://www.seattleweekly.com/features/0237/arts-smallworld.shtml' target='_blank'>http://www.seattleweekly.com/features/0237...mallworld.shtml</a>

    Nowhere NEAR as funny as the original Amazon reviews that were posted, and most of the best ones were omitted to show the author's disapproval of the toy, and anything containing 'witchcraft'.

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->
    several Christians have alerted me that Potter was practicing witchcraft, but I had no idea just how dangerous and sinful he was.
    <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    And now a slightly more impartial article:
    <a href='http://entertainment.iwon.com/celebgossip/pgsix/id/09_07_2002_1.html' target='_blank'>http://entertainment.iwon.com/celebgossip/..._07_2002_1.html</a>

    Could you actually look into the cost per toy? Possibly that beanie baby crap or whatever. Ideally I would route a small hole in my PC and stick a skulk half way through, mid-leap.

    It may be possible for you to arrange pre-ordering (full credit card details entered and confirmed) of the toys, and only when the pre-orders hit an acceptable margin for the toys, actually have them made and sold.

    I dont like fluffy toys, but as an internal/external case decoration I doubt I could resist. I'm on my way to buy merchandise tonight anyway.

    Had no idea... I've been exposed to a number of super-fundamentalist newsletters with innocuous names. Including ones that seemed to be more of jokes than that one was, though they were completely serious. It's scary when you can mistake an article written with serious intent for a joke, and an article written as a joke as the real thing, as you've SEEN how off-the-deep-end super-fundamentalist christians (or xtians.. they use it for xmas after all) can go.

    Then again, I still firmly believe that Bush's 'election' was just a joke that no one caught onto before it was too late, and was signed in as legal. The one that went too far. (Post-assignment recounts showed Gore to have won... in the lead by over 12,000 votes. But it couldn't be reversed, apparently.) Now we have a moron for a President, who is manufacturing a war to draw people's attention away from his stupidity and the fact that he almost choked to death on a *pretzel*. <a href='http://www.gwbush.com' target='_blank'>Dubya Spoof Site.. great stickers, too. www.gwbush.com</a>

    Why no black t shirts at the NS store?<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" /> I'd love a black shirt with the mouse pad eye logo on the front.

    I think you should re-think some of the designs, it seems like the NS team has come up with better artwork than what is offered and the layouts seem off as far as sizing and positioning.

    Count me in for a plush gorge as long as they're not overly expensive.

    Edit:
    Oops! I just realized this thread was waaaaaaaaaay old. Paying attention is not my strong point. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
