<div class="IPBDescription">ARGGGG</div> Okay, I've checked other posts and I still cannot figure out what to do. I've tried to install the game about 5 times now all into differnet directories (none have worked and I've lost about a gig of Hard drive space <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad-fix.gif' /> ) I didn't let it dl into the original set path because I didn't want it to overwrite my whole HL1 game. (Do I actually have to do this?) I've put it into the HL1 folder, the 3rd party games folder, and it's own folder, but none have worked... Could someone please help me?

When installing NS, the directory it gives you should be fine. There is no need to redirect it to anywhere else, otherwise it might not work. The C:\Program Files\...\half life is where it installs the NS Folder to, it doesn't rewrite HL. The NS folder will be IN the half life folder.

When I install it, it doesnt even think there is steam or half life, so It wont show a derectory. How Can I get it to detect it or where could the directory be?

If it doesn't detect the directory automatically, then browse to it yourself. Make sure the directory ends with ' half life ' otherwise you won't be able to play it. If you have Steam and Half Life installed, it should auto detect though

No, NS is a Half-Life modification, not a HL2/source one -- yet.

Ahh, that explains it, I guess I'll have to wait for them to make it <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' />
