Yes these trailers are from E3, but these are all direct-from-screen or whatever its called, not shakycams like what we had previously. It's all quite the uber sexy. Even if you could care less about the 360, its worth checking out some of the HD footage just to see the visual fidelity.
Especially good are the trailers for Dead or Alive 4, Test Drive Unlimited, and Elder Scrolls 4.

Why isn't Gears of War on the list? That is probably going to be the system-seller for me. Is it going to be released after the 360?
who in their right mind is going to by a pc that you get banned from the single connection to the internet it has (xbox live) if you upgrade the parts.
personnaly id rather buy a computer and throw in a some money here and there to keep it up to date, rather then play along with microsoft and buy a completly new console system and set of games ever 2 years.
Mmmmmmm
Vollyball with physics, and physics applyed to anatomy, and mmmmmmmmmm....

A little money here and there still is more than the price of a console... The games on colsoles also happen to look decently. The X-Box still has pretty decent graphics now, in a few years, the 360 and PS3 will also have comparably good graphics for the time.
You try to buy a 512Mb Ati graphics card and a tri-core PPC processor for what they will charge for it.
I'm gonna try to get Linux running on it
Console life cycles are at ~5 years, not 2. Sony is claiming the PS3 at 10, but it'll take a lot of money where their mouth is to make up for the missed PS2 claims I've upgraded or replaced my home system 3 or 4 times since the last generation of consoles shipped, spending more each time than the cost of a brand-new console. My upcoming upgrade is almost a full overhaul and could probably buy me the X360 and at least half the launch titles all in one sitting.
You're going to be buying different games by then anyway, so a 'new set of games' is just silly to complain about. Same thing with PCs, but they're still for the 'same platform.' I don't see how this is any different on a PC, really. Buy/build a PC. Buy games. Eventually new games come out that won't run on yours. Upgrade/re-build. Repeat. Same process.
I figure I'll be playing Wake on my PC and playing Halo 3 at a friend's house, because I don't care enough to pay for it.

I guarantee you not. FFXI has been out for YEARS on PS2 and about a year on PC. Microsoft is getting nothing out of that deal.
Call of Duty 2 and Quake 4, both has its fan base in the PC world. They both also has PC versions. What kind of PC gamer would get an Xbox to play an FPS?
1000 zombies has me interested tho
Oh yeah you can tell right away that there are 5-10 copies of zombies in that photo. Still very impressive, would be more impressive when a good demonstration comes out.
GR3 will be released for both Xbox, Xbox 360, and PC. The PC version will also not be a port of the Xbox version.
As for the zombie copies, I wouldn't expect the game to lack copies with up to 1000 zombies around at once.

Hmm, if that turns out well, i might buy an Xbox just for that, even though i'll already have a Revolution
X-Box release date: 11/08/2001
Just goes to prove that not only is Half-Life brilliant, but the people who make it are awesome too.
Yeah, these were released a month or two ago... Impressive for some games, others look like they could exist on today's consoles.
Gears of War is tempting too.
