Why Are Skulks So Cool?

<div class="IPBDescription">really...</div> why are skulks so cool? is it because they skitter round, or just because they get stuck in the funniest places -cue signature-...?
but seriously... i really dont like fades, too much like ppl (hence y not play marine) gorges are cool cus they got the range attacks and the buildy buildy....
lerks are cool, but i'd trade spores for the lerkspike... and onos are just plain fat!!!
but the skulks are teh bomb!!! maby just because they are always blowing up :S
parasite and wallclimb would need to be the best ability through the whole game, cus im an AVP2 fan +aliens with their crazy dangling from the ceiling and headbiting... hrm.... NS headbite would be pretty cool if you could fully decapitate them .... and the leap is pretty cool too with the jumping from wall to wall like a bat out of hell now that is cool. But i reckon that the BEST part about them is that they are such a challenge because they are so fragile. (although all species take a certain amount of skill) i reckon that the skulk, being the smallest and weakest (HP/AP) gives me soo much satisfaction when i sneak in for a quick clean kill

But back on the topic, yeah skulks are cool and stuff. The only time I can remember them being scary is olden NS when it had athmosphere (insert OMG BABBLERS1.04WASBETTERLOLOL here) and skulks would leap out of dark corners and such.
Other than that, skulks just have the neat ability to climb walls. If you go and check out the new Dystopia video over at PlanetHalfLife.com it shows their method of cyberspace. It's really cool because it's pretty much dynamically three-dimensional. As soon as you cling to a wall, the camera angles and it becomes the floor to you.
Imagine if this was applied to NS:S, you would be on a cieling and you wouldnt see a marine right-side-up but upside down, it could literally make someone hurl.

Skulks are cool, because even a single rine is a thread and you need to play them with your mind turned on.
plus, it only sais FILESIZE, not SCALESIZE dont it...? hrmmm... neways...
Urinal- i think i may have included this, but "Aliens Verses Predator/2" (U know, 20th Century Fox movie made into a game where aliens are pitted against USMC marines and the predator turned PC game by Sierra and Monolith???) anyways, the alien has a wallclimb ability like the skulk, and it defaults to off. (you can default it to on). but anyways... when u press the wallclimb button, you 'cling' to the wall/material and your view shifts 90degrees/whatever degree-horizontal the material is. The best part about it is that you get to be hte facehugger at the start, and you dont have anything to worry bout for a while (no nasty marines coming to turn ur body into an acid pool) so you can muck about and practice your wall climb with a yummy chug bucket next to your face. In NS however, it would be sweet, because you'd get sooooo many ppl not used to it (because it is wierd at first) dropping off the walls/ceiling like drunken flies. (quite fun to pick off for marines <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) anyway, i think that it would be cool, not only in its coolness, but it would erase a problem with the skulks 'slipperyness' that you get when trying to go from a horizontal climb to a vertical (ceiling climb in a short space).
