<div class="IPBDescription">What can Beat An army of fades?</div> NOthing! Nothing can beat well organised army of fades....You say Hv Armors!! Hv machineguns!!! Yeah rigth How many marines using this thingy's ? A lot......And How many resources comm needs to spend ? A lot.......How often comm drops MANY weapons and armors.....NOT ALOT...they always think about attack and securing hives (whitch is good strategy) and there is no room for A LOT of equipment....So fades just eat us <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Give them HA but no heavy weapon, and the fade will be able to whittle them down melee style while sustaining little damage.
So the solution is: Get two marines with HA and HMG / shotty AND A WELDER EACH! I believe it's a 110 PR investment or so. But two diligent marines in HA with HMGs or shotties that remember to<b> WELD EACH OTHER </b>can sustain quite a lot of fade abuse. It also helps if the commander is on the ball and drops them ammo + health.
Oh, and regarding fade combat: a shoot-out at range is in favor of the fade normally. You need to get closer to them that your shotty or HMG hits with most of it's cone, and that the fade cannot easily dodge near a healing chamber or into a corner to regenerate it's health. It's about keeping the initiative when battling fades, and you lose it with your basic portal'ed in "Skulk food" grunt.

try to attack one of them at the same time
try to destroy defensive chambers and healing goges
When you think they a taken enough bashing from turret fire chase after them then finish them before they can heal.
It’s is the only way to finish them solo (if you don't consider it something)
If in hall alone way stay away from walls (due to splash damage) strafe allot dodging when they pop around corner unload they when you think they taken a bit charge around the corner hopefully they won't suspect it and get a chance to kick them when they are down <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> (i.e. low adrenaline + health) works some times

In teams try to attack in waves of two either side of them if can (as one group splash will get them all)
