Follow the instruction below for the elevator to go express to your desired floor.

elevator h5x
Their instuctions are too generic in this exercise. Elevators are not standard, they are widely different. What works for one usually work for only that one.

Thats why I think I'll never use it. Be so easily caught doing it.
Reminds me of the soda machine “hacks” that used to be all the rage.
*sigh*
It was stupid. I put a remote (a little chip from a garage door opener with some fancy wiring with resistors to make the two AA output the correct voltage attached with five alligator clips) onto the computer thingy in the maintenance room. Then all I needed to do was press my garage door opener to call the elevator remotely to one specific floor. A simple jury rigged operation which really just needed knowledge of what wires of the elevator did what and what was the correct voltage, a simple matter of knowing how a multimeter works and seeing where the wires lead to. (ie: there's a semiconductor that leads to a motor controlling the door. hmm, wow that's sure hard to understand *sarcasm*)
I also changed the alligator clip configuration to make go to different floors or close the door. Closing the door remotely was the funny part. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Of course to cut a long story short I couldn't resist the allure of fame of having people know I was doing it and thus word of mouth found its way to somebody in charge who couldn't take a joke and decided to lecture me on how I could've broken the elevator, no respect for private property, and how I should owe him money for repairing the damage I did, blah blah. In fact I knew exactly what I was doing and did no damage to the elevator. Moron.
Anyways the moral of the story is ask for permission before doing something like that so you don't get in trouble. In California you'll get sued (b/c everybody is lawsuit happy in SoCal) more than likely so be real careful.

Dude, pushing two buttons is different than rewiring something so you can control it. Worst case scenario, you say it was an accident and you didn't know it would happen.
they did at the 3 hospitals i have been staffed at <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
english healthcare > german healthcare.
well the lifts at least.
I tried this at my college. It didn't work. It did, however, succeed in annoying a large amount of people, who blamed the person I pointed at, who I didn't like. So it all worked out.
**EDIT**
I'd also like to point out that I'm scared at how easily I remember threads from so long ago. I saw the title "Ever Used The Elevator" at the top of my browser, and could remember what it was about.
