Touring The 'dirty South'
I'm on vacation right now in Columbus Georgia. This is my first time here, and so far it's semi-enjoyable. I had no idea how warm and humid the air is down south. I've been told many times it's *hot* down here; however, I might aswell be in a sauna! Anyways, I have to bring back a few gifts for friends and such. Could someone point me in the right direction? (shopping malls, strips, etc.) I'm looking for more of the 'inner-city' lifestyle. I was hopping to find some graffiti to photograph while I'm down here, but so far I haven't seen anything. Help?

Go to a train yard, you'll find graffiti.
They really aren't.
Our gang population percent is only in the top 100s, (159 or something I believe). nothing like atlanta or detroit.

I'm not looking for black people. I guess you we're being sarcastic but; really, I just want to locate the 'inner city' hot spots. I guess I'm being too vague. Is Colombus really boony-ish in comparison to Atlanta?
I don't recommend any of Africa, Europe, or Asia, and stay off our Ice Caps as well.
Also Australia has man eating dragons so I would keep out.
Other than that there are plenty of cool places to visit.
Atlanta is where all the real OG gangsta mofos live. Like Lil John. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I've lived here all my life and used to be all "omgz south sux" but I've grown to love it.

I think it's an insult to OGs everywhere that you even consider a "Durtah Souf" hillbilly like Lil John to be gangsta. Ice T is an OG, son, not some country bumpkin with a pound of ice on his wrist.
If you want a cool "inner city" Southern experience, I would try looking for BBQ and blues joints. If there's anything good the south has, it's ribs and soul.
You know, those dragons are a major problem for the ecosystem down here. They're an introduced spieces, and they compete with the native drop bears for food (not to mention the damage to livestock). In fact, I hear the CSIRO are working on an anti-dragon virus to try to control the population.
Hah, yes I know this area isn't really known for it's amazing street art. I didn't come here looking for it though, I just figured while I'm here if there's any spots to check out I might aswell peep 'em.
