[NS:S] Green Lasers

<div class="IPBDescription">These Lasers are green like in AvP and cannot be seen by Kharra</div>A green laser that's on a different visual frequency that marines can see, but aliens cannot. Although crosshairs would be enabled, this would also help other players see what another player is aiming at and can be used to point out strategic points.

yeah, something more stealthy and cool looking... the commander could see which direction a soldier is covering also based on the direction their laser is pointing towards.

I prefer red lasers since the background for NS 3.0 have red lasers (on the weapon).

Sounds like a good idea, maybe have an option to enable/disable it.

And servers can enable/disable it too.

I've never liked sight laser's in games, it always sounds cool, but when you see it in-game, it looks tacky and stupid.

I've never seen it look bad. The half life guns with lasers, the TS(the specialist) guns with lasers, they all look fine.

And the suggestion isn't about "looking cool", it's about allowing your teammates to know where you're aiming, so they can help figuring out where the alien is.

It's invisible to the alien eye(<i>so they can't tell where you're aiming</i>), and you can turn it on/off(<i>should be able, if this suggestion does make it</i>).

GREAT idea. It would be completely awesome to see where my teammates are aiming, so I can adjust my field of view/aim accordingly.

I kinda like this idea. A laser that the khaara can't see - on the other hand, the khaara has the advantage in dark places with their vision...assuming no one haxors with their gamma settings that is.

I don't think lasers would look good once the novelty had worn off, but I do like the idea of being able to see more clearly where marines are aiming.

I think (hope) more precise flashlights will be used in ns2, especially if its on the source engine, which will serve the same purpose as the green lasers.

Also, I don't think theres any need for the kharra not to be able to see it.

I love this idea and lean more closer towards the lasers than the flashlights, afterall with the technology the marines having including this being NS2, they should have them!!! and if you don't like them there will be an option to disable them like PetCo said. So it makes everyone happy.
