    Ok folks - I was getting the same feeling when i posted it - barrel does look a bit long/thing. I will consider what im going to do to it tonight. I'll probably make a new thread for the V1.1 mesh.

    I agree with the suggestion that the barrel is a little long for a launcher (there's no rifling in a grenade launcher) but i also think you might want to try setting the barrel a little higher up the body of the gun to give it some balance.

    I'm pretty sure there is for an OICW actually.

    oh, right, forgot about that. I don't usually think of it as a grenade launcher.

    make the barrel like 2 inches long (and a long gernade luancher barrel is still good) and make it on top of the triangle thing, sticking out a short bit and much more fat... IT would look awesome if you redid all the guns in this style (mind you keeping them orignal too).

    I love the cocking bolt on top, this is gonna be one sweet model.

    =EDIT=

    At second glance, the butt plate looks a little chunky. I like the two rods making a recoil cushion sorta thing, but the stock needs to be a little less rectangular.
    i don't intend to be picky or mean or anything, but judging from your gunn model, you seem to respond well to constructive criticism, so that's what i'm trying to give.

    re: the barrel, I'd say just make it fatter and shorter. A nice solid and stumpy looking sort of thing. Apart from the barrel, it looks great.

    (Well, it looks good <i>with</i> the barrel, just not like a grenade launcher)

    i like it, bar the barrel (but thats already been covered) the only other thing is there seems to be a tight budget on detail... prolly come out in the skin i s'pose.

    ok, i'll say this now, and i will say it any time this comes up. it is a replacement MODEL and SKIN. not just a SKIN. the CS habit of calling replacement models SKINS stops here. i refuse to let this stupid idosyncrasy work its way into the NS community. its a MODEL & SKIN or a just a model, if you must, as the skin is of less impact than the model in the long run. its NOT A SKIN. read the forum name: Models and Skins. Models. and. Skins.

    end rant.

    Model=new 3d object
    skin=the pretty stuff that covers the model. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    in the most simplest of terms

    it's odd, how in only cs people call them skins and not models.. odd.
