I just want to be sure that no one is going to help me out with my constellation problems. I donated under a different email, which was canceled since I no longer have that ISP. I have very politely requested assistance (from many moderators), perhaps a paypal lookup, which would match my paypal account that I donated under to this forum ID, and no one has answered.

I'm just making sure this is how you treat your people who supported you from the beginning.

    Patience young grashoppar, it's only until recently these forums got available, and such i can imagine the mods must have been busy etc... Try messaging them again until you get a response

    make's no difference what reason he donated for. while flayra may be busy, surely he would want to take care of his constie members. i mean, we did keep ns alive as long as it has been, and were for a time flayra's only financial income. this guy gave his good hard earned cash, and i do believe he deserves, at the very least, his icon.

    Well, I spoke to a few mods, even those intimately dealing with the forum about converting to an older forum account I have on here, and yet, nothing. Even once I was told it'd be done and supllied needed "proof" for conversion.

    I've since given up. This community will change and I'm sure people will always fill in where other dedicated members left off, but it's sad to see. Sorry, Rook, I feel your pain.

    Hey Rook,

    Sorry you've been having so much trouble. It's been very difficult for us to manage the Constellation program, as e-mails are constantly changing and people have e-mailed me in the past trying to "fake" Constellation access. We've also had problems with our auth tools and user accounts as we've launched the new site. It's made for a lot of confusion and a lot of work.

    Now I am able to re-grant Constellation access again though so I've added it again to your account. Sorry!

    People trying to get free Constellation access? I'm not surprised, but it's just that I wasn't really sure why people want to try to waste effort into getting constellation access.


    We get access to the forums only a month or two earlier, but that's not much since no one really posts anyway. You basically get to brag(about having access to the forums), and that's it. Bragging isn't all that great, you shouldn't do it, it's bad.


    We do get access to a constellation-only forum, but nothing goes around there anyway, except the super secret eternal spam topic of awesomeness shown in this picture: <img src="http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/6692/crazyspamtopicum5.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />.


    In all seriousness, I'm sorry to say that there are these people who'd try to cheat their way into constellation access. It makes things take longer, since you have to look carefully at emails sent about constellation access. Whether they're legit or people try to get access without donating and getting it as a *<b>bonus</b>, it's work that you have to do and still do for the community of NS.

    *Flayra gives the constellation access(<i>which involves forum testing, PTing, having an icon, etc</i>) as an appreciation for people who have donated in the helping of funding NS(and paying his bills). When you try to get constellation access for free without donating, that's disrespecting him and people who've actually donated.

    Having constellation access/icon isn't to say "Hey, I have forum access earlier than you and get to play test upcoming versions" but suppose to be "Hey, I helped Flayra pay his rent and fund NS".

    You deserve a <img src="http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/5264/smallercoolcookies300iv4.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> Flayra.
