Another low tier Alien?

<div class="IPBDescription">Variety for those who don't ###### res</div>I'm thinking what they could do in NS2, is to give you the choice of two types of Alien that cost no res to use. There could be the skulk, and then a water type alien. We could have maps with emphasis on water, like an ocean with pilotable ships which are capture points and double as spawn points\hives, or an aquarium... in space. You could choose which alien to use before spawning, or switch on the fly for little to no cost depending on balance issues. The water type alien could be like a skulk, but it drowns in air the way skulks drown in water, as well as it being fast and deadly underwater. And of course, the marines would get scuba gear, water guns, etc.
Also, the water alien could either:
1.) Be a water parallel to skulks, with a bite, parasite, faster swim, and explosion attack
2.) Be completely different, with... different attacks
So in summary, the idea is:
-Another alien that is essentially free to use
-That alien having a specialty in water
-Water maps to accompany this
-Weaknesses to balance things out, like drowning in air
Also on the side:
-Pilotable ships that double as spawn points
-Watercraft such as speed boats and submarines
-The aliens being able to also use vehicles(by infesting them or something)
Then again, it might be easier to just have a chamber upgrade that gives you water abilities for any alien.

I started screaming when I read that. This kind of suggestion have been in motion in current versions, but as they said then i'll say now. There isnt enough water to make the creature worth the effort to create. And thinking of water based maps... how would the rest of the alien team survive if the marines had various aqua equipment? The onos would be shot dead faster then u can say "l0rk in the w4ter".
I strongly doubt they will do water based maps as it requiers lots of balance tweaking and new stuff.
The idea of another low tier alien that is free like the skulk though is a good idea if implimented properly. I'm not sure what it could be, but I'll throw an idea out. Maybe an alien that instead of having parasite has a biotoxin that causes a marine to be dazed and disoreintated. It would be shot the same way as parasite though.
It would go well with another idea I had. A second weapon select for spawning marines. The biggest problem with this is balance though. It can't be better then a LMG or it would just replace it. The two thoughts I've had is a single shot rifle. It does more damage then the LMG but much slower shooting and reload rate. Or a flamethrower, *Wishes*, shorter range then LMG but same damage with a cone area effect in front of the marine but also very slow reload time.
Just some thoughts to throw out.
