Fade blink

<div class="IPBDescription">With motion blur?</div>Hey,

I've read the other fade blink thread, and I personally think that the fade shouldn't teleport (although the "near-instant teleportation" info should be ditched), it should blink how it still does but have a blur behind it, and the fade should see everything blurred as it blinks aswell. Feedback?

Cheers!

The current blink speed isn't really fast enough to warrant a blur.

Unless the blur is due to the action of blinking rather than the motion.

I think it's quite cool to have a motion blur while blinking

i think fades should be effectively blind while blinking, so they have to pick their destination before they blink and if they stuff it up or something changes (ie a marine blocks their path) they are screwed. blink is basically a built-in speedhack atm without any real inherent drawback or risk that can't be easily overcome with reasonable reflexes.

I'd like to see you use a fade against a competent marine team. Then you'll see that the fade needs the blink to survive, not to overpower everything.

fade Blink with motion bleur ? i think ony small think. if the USER have a WERY SMALL , and worst VGA, he cannot see that. MUST put the setup this option : DETAIL-low DETAIL-medium DETAIL-High. in high detail level contains Motion bleur, if <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/lerk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::lerk::" border="0" alt="lerk.gif" /> LERK fly attack top-down , and FAST blink attack of fade <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fade.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::fade::" border="0" alt="fade.gif" /> this is my ideas.
