I'm thinking very, VERY strongly about it. In fact, even if I lived on the other side of the country I would still consider it.
The reason?

Comments
I guess they couldn't get any good bands.

Hey look everyone! I glow with unmitigated disdain for things I am not especially fond of!
BTW: RATM is fun. But I wonder if they'll be any good coming back together- if Zach will let any of his underground stuff come, either.
No I'm serious RATM are the only good ones up there.. the rest looks like new age indie ish, pop or rap.

Well, Placebo, Circa Survive, and The Decemberists aren't bad. They <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xthwW0xYl1E" target="_blank">were even on the Colbert Report</a>, after all. <3
I would love to see: Brazilian Girls, DJ Shadow, Felix da Housecat, Sonic Youth, Gillian Welch, The Decemberists, Fountains of Wayne, Portishead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tisto, Lily Allen, Infected Mushroom, Damien Rice, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and Paul van Dyk.
geez, the more I look over that list, the more awesome it sounds.
Rage is overrated imo <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" /> it's sad when you can see acts like Sonic Youth and RHCP at a festival but Rage is considered the headliner...
Portishead is one of my favorite things ever.
i like ratm and vnv nation... hot chip i've HEARD, but eh, maybe if im stoned ill listen to them
regina spektor sucks and her voice drives me insane
but yeah, california... eh... besides i have all the music i want to listen to on my computer.. concerts are pointless....
Also, whoever did the hip hop acts for this knows their stuff, kudos to them.
RHCP would definitely be the headliner if not for the fact that RATM disbanded 7 years ago!! i hope you didn't forget lol <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> they're coming back for this one show. that's why this is huge.
I hope RATM tour.

Against Me! are awesome as well.
I hope RATM tour.

Hmm, RATM headlining with Against Me! opening sounds like a good idea to me.
that is possibly the single most <b>disgustingly</b> awesome gig I have ever seen in my entire life. shame its in the US <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />
it's far enough in the future that i might get a ticket just for the third day..
or maybe.. the second and third day...
so tempting :/
it would be like Eurotrip, except, AMERITRIP!
reviews would be dismal and it would go straight to DVD.
Not to mention that these things always end up being complete cluster######s - who knows if my mind could take it again.
That said, seeing Rage live has been something like a lifelong dream for me . . .
see if <a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=WoZnWO0veH8" target="_blank">this</a> doesn't psyche you up.
It's like hell.
Go Go Go Go!
if you Don't go,youre a barbarian! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
I really can't recommend 'Arcade Fire' enough. I wasn't very into their music until I saw them live in '95. They do a blinder of a gig. Really has to be experienced.
I saw RATM live in the early nineties, I'd like to think they still kick ######. I also saw ( and met ) Sonic Youth when they played in Cork in 1991 ( supported by a band almost unheard of at the time called Nirvana ).
I'd love to see The Jesus and Mary Chain. They're one of those bands I planned to see but never got around to.
The Gotan Project would be my number one priority at that lineup, for sure.
i'm surprised to see the frames and rodrigo y gabriella play a US gig. I thought their exposure was limited to Ireland.
