<div class="IPBDescription">seriously. IKEA FTW</div><a href="http://ikea.shoplocal.com/ikea/default.aspx?action=detail&storeid=2499966&rapid=0&listingid=-2094673509&offerid=" target="_blank">http://ikea.shoplocal.com/ikea/default.asp...09&offerid=</a>
Features:
- Folds flat in on quick motion with one hand and a foot. Takes up almost no space.
- Extremely rigid construction. Doesn't budge in any way you don't want it to.
- Works equally well as an extra seat, a drink table next to a chair, an eating table in front of a couch, or a card table.
- Stylish design with solid materials all the way around. Thick and attractive acrylic top. Thick coated-steel legs.
- Cheap. $13 per stool.
Dunno how many people out there have apartments and need to accommodate company, but these are a great asset. Thought I'd pass it along.

Normal aluminum folding chairs seem to have ceased existing. Used to be my favorite kind of computer chair- never waned, never broke, never moved wiedly, and tons comfortable. *sigh*
@Quaunaut: I like how the article beneath your sig gets an average of 1.1 stars from readers, like it should <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
It'll break. Like all the affordable Swedish crap.

Exactly. One day you'll sit down and "easy-collapse" becomes "always-collapse."
Don't get me wrong though, they are nifty - especially if you're camping or hiking or fishing as you can just attach it to your backpack with no problem.
I'm not sure how they qualify for the capital A in amazing, though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> Are you being paid for this?
Thanks, but any company I'd have over would be worthy of a little bit better .... ... .. . <img src="http://www.ibparcade.com/style_emoticons/default/thumbdown.gif" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

I'm guessing you either have a larger living space or less company. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Still, you could use them as drink tables.

Sorry Moultano but.....it's a stool. One that probably breaks after a few months of owning it too, resulting in you falling down and looking silly in front of your friends (well, I had one stool like that where that happened).

This is just the best designed little thing I've ever seen, and I really really like good design. The picture doesn't do them justice. They really are slick looking, and you really have to hold them to appreciate the quality construction. You'd have to defy some laws of physics for these to collapse on their own.
Also, you probably wouldn't want to take them hiking. They aren't very light.

It's a stool...
I hosted a pancake and game playing brunch yesterday and picked these up so I'd have enough chairs.
Here are the pics: <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/aaron.dsouza/BrunchAtRyanS" target="_blank">http://picasaweb.google.com/aaron.dsouza/BrunchAtRyanS</a>

<i>pancake and game playing brunch</i> ? o_O .............
Hey they look nice. I didn't see from the catalogue picture that there was a back to them. I could probably do with two...

The stools don't have a back to them. The folding chairs people are sitting in are other chairs from IKEA which are also nice, but didn't inspire me with as much awe as the stools. They do however fold flatter than any other folding chair I've ever seen.

Those pictures are incredibly dramatic.
I had chairs like these, and my fat-###### friend destroyed them.

There's nothing greater than being treated to a visual barrage of some guy's oversized friends in an undersized room doing who knows what for no real reason. I'm printing out these photos and posting them on my wall just so I can live the dream forever and ever.

Well, you're getting paid for it right?
