Enhancemants

<div class="IPBDescription">stat stuff</div>Bio enhancemants for marines, I hear about all these ideas for new aliens and what about a marine, so I a enhancement, like a Bio implant on a marine upgrade station, which has many upgrades.

Leg enhancement - would NOT!!! increase feet speed (because the reason that it would make a marine to fast for even a alien to catch or attack properly, if you been to a combat server with cyber you would know what I mean, even if its just a small increase, if it was in it would require distance reductions when jumping since thats killer with that increase, spaming marine jumping speed demons, hard as heck to hit), it would increase strength and endurance, in otherwords increase the endurance bar if there would be one. Or just a Prerequirement to heavys.

Arm enhancement - (all of these are things that it COULD do, not all of them, for that would be overpowered) reload/slash with knife speed, damage with knife, able to carry certain weapons or just be a prerequirement to heavy armor, able to turn certain knobs in a map(acts like a welder kind of in the since that you can go places), being able to carry objects (works with the pyhisics engine that HL2 uses with grav gun, move boxes to get on objects) , if lerk lift is a thing that has been made in it then it would also allow the marine to brake out of the lift with a button press or something or just immune to it (another idea is to make lerk lift a battle system that is based on the endurance or each player, then the arm enhancement would allow to brake free from it easier).

Head enhancement? - well, I dont know, but all I could think of for this is that it allows for the display map for normal NS to be shown without needing to pull out a radar or something, or make MT visible. It cant give extra senses because that would make it to great, all the other enhancements have 1-3 lvls to buy, this I could only think to have 1. So use your imanination when you get head enhancement.

Torso enhancement - Another prerequirement to heavys, gives more hp, internal Chemical smell changer ( this makes the sensing of marines harder but not impossible when SoF come into play or hive just immune from hive sight).

Every upgrade reduces dmg taken from that area of body, head though is not effected by that system, aswell as heavy armor requires at least lvl 2 of each upgrade but head or even lvl 3, the upgrades from one to the other would be noticeable but small on stats but from going from lvl 0 to 3 you should be able to feel a difference in power.

Last thing I believe should be in is that the marine is only able to get one of the full upgrades, leg, arm, or torso, as for head is always on, before a marine spawns there would be a menu just like a menu seen on CS or something, this meanu only apears if you right click or in other words action button otherwise it would automaticly select the upgrade chosen before, if the marine wants to remain in that menu, he just doesnt spawn and someone spawns before him.

Why would you need to be stronger to operate an HA? It's not like you manually move the arms and legs, it does that for you. If all those robot suits that multiply your strength made you actually do all the work, it would defeat the purpose. >_>

And there already is an argument about damage in specific areas, so far it's been ruled that it wouldn't make sense, because you would have to apply the same things to the aliens.

How about a leg enhancement that allows sprinting for a short period of time?
