hi all there,
i got the problem, that i don't see pretty nothing on formerly well lightened maps after updating to NS 3.2 yesterday.
gamma is again set to 3.0. in NS 3.1.x it was pretty ok, but atm i just can set my monitor brighter - wat is not a fine solution, because for working it is too bright.
any suggestions?
i got a radeon 9600 gfx card, win xp sp2
help would be appreciated - thx in advance - dReady S.

3.2 overwrote your config files, which you didn't back up before installing it.
It's defaulted your graphics settings.
Go to Options -> Video, and readjust the sliders for gamma and brightness back to your acceptable levels
I used to be able to increase my gamma through my ATI control panel with hotkeys but since I updated to 3.2 I cant or when the main screen for NS comes up it will be as light as I want it but after I join a game it goes back to being sooo dark. Any suggestions?

thx mate, that'll do it! didn't recognize that there is a brightness and gamma slider in options menue, since i set gamma in console <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
for that i LOVE NaSe <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
ps: you also can adjust "brightness" in console during game (could be it will be set after restart, dunno)
