A Question about NS

Hello Com,
I just registered to ask you one thing.
Yesterday i wanted to play a little bit NS but as i started i bceome the message that my NS maps are different as they from the server.
So please can you say me why and where I can download the actual maps?

I already installed the version 3.2 before 5 minutes but that doesn't work.


If there is already one question like this, I'm sorry...

    If you've got the 3.2 installed, its probably a sort of bug sometimes occurs. I got rid of it after formatting, but I've got no idea if there's a better way to fix it around. Also make sure you've got the 3.2 maps and not for example 3.1 maps left in your ns folder. You can try renaming the maps (.bsp files in your maps-folder) so that the game downloads the maps from the server again when trying to join a game.

    I joined now at 2 co Server with no problems, but as I wanted to join [Classic NS!] :: www.ABLEns.net i got the message "Your map [maps\ns_eclipse.bsp] differ's from the servers.

    Looks like till now it happen only at eclipse, nancy, shiva, origin, altair, bast, eon and veil


    Maybe someone can send me his maps via ICQ?

    I renamed a map and then I <u>deleted</u> it but it doesn't work

    I think i've done it.
    I got a second natural selection folder, I don't know why, but I got.
    In it were the same maps then in the first and that make the failure, because as i deleted one of these and started NS i could download this map now I deleted all those maps and hope it's working now.

    ehhhhh

    remove all of your NS folders and make sure you do a fresh install with 3.2 from the NS main page.

    map.bsp and client.dll errors are generally both caused by using the wrong versions of NS.
