So I finally got a job...
<div class="IPBDescription">again...</div>A history lesson NONE of you care about! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" /> But I'ma type it up anyway because I'm watching a Stargate SG-1 marathon and this particular episode I have seen and never really enjoyed a whole lot. So...
A long time ago I posted about getting my first job ever at an Airport my Senior year as part of my Senior Exit Project. This was huge for me, because it had always been my dream to fly. Imagine my dismay when I came to the realization that they never really needed me, and I was soon... released... when they felt I could no longer learn from them, and I had obtained all I needed for my project.
Skip ahead a year and a few months (I remained un-employed the rest of my senior year and much of my freshman year of college), and I've obtained a new job, as a stock boy for a local supermarket. This was a woefully underwhelming job and I felt as though my brain degraded every time I moved an item on the shelf. Couple this with the fact that I had 4 different managers over me, depending on the day, and all 4 wanted everything done their own special way. I ended up quitting out of frustration, and to save what was left of my brain.
2 months after that, I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, Crohn's Disease. >_> After going through a surgery in August of '06, and again in October of 06', both leaving me nearly bed-ridden for 3-4 weeks at a time, I was without a job for quite awhile. Skip ahead to right now, and I've finally obtained the best job ever around these parts. Wednesday I start training at a local company called "Exceed Technologies.". I'll be a computer techie. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nerd-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::nerdy::" border="0" alt="nerd-fix.gif" />
