Eggs: The alien eggs should only be able to form if they are close to a hive. This would make sense and it would make game better for everyone.
Mines: In natural selection you can cheat and make a ladder of mines and climb on top of them. You should fix this and make it so you cant climb on mines.
Siege Turrets: Maybe siege turrets should only be able to shoot through non infested walls.
Make NS scarier: The game gives you a sense of scariness and a sense of a strategy game. Ive played The Hidden:source and its pretty scary considering that you have a cloaked monster after you. Same idea with NS cloaking hiding in vents waiting to strike. Some marines go rogue and just go alone or on suicide missions, Some how make it scary enough so marines will want to cover each other.
Growing Infestation: I read the topic about Starcraft's idea of creeping infestation with every new building you create or hive. It should also be if you destroy structures the infestation grows smaller and is gone. Two buildings that should create infestation, Resource Towers and Hives.
New Lerk attack: Lerks when in flight should be able to take a marines heads off using its legs/feet. Of course it would take the third hive to be complete to be able to use this attack
Alien Building Buildings: Have alien structures have less health and grow less as fast if not on infestation.
Marines Map of the Map: Make it so commander has to upgrade the map so marines can use it. The upgrade would be bought at an observatory.
Aliens Health: Once an alien kills a marine they should be able to eat the marine and would gain health from eating.
New alien: Maybe make a new alien with the ability to spit acid and burn through the marines armor.

Mine ladders: I'm indifferent on this one, though it makes for some fun times.
Siege Turrets: I like the idea, though, I like beasty's idea more since I suggested the same thing once. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />
Make NS scarier: What? It's not scary? The first time I played the game I freaked out. That was earlier versions, I suppose, though. Other than that...You can't say that it doesn't freak you out when you turn around and a skulk appears right in your face.
Infestation idea: No for the second part. Infestation has other ways to be cleared. And Res towers and hives only would make the DI nearly non-existant.
Lerk attack: One hit kill? Uhh, no. Primal scream is better, thanks.
Alien Buildings: No again. If you need to fortify an area against the marines, your OCs will need all the HP and build speed they can get.
Marines Map: I like this idea, but I don't think that the TSA would send soldiers in without a map.
Aliens eating marines for HP: Suggested before, I'm indifferent.
New alien idea: Erm, you mean like the fade's acid rocket?
you need to read the suggestion FAQ sanobrew - if you would of suggested photon rifles you probably would have broken all of the rules on the FAQ.

I appreciate the new ideas but Pikminwars and Schkorpio are sorta right. A forum has to keep some sort of order or it becomes more like jibberish and difficult to find. Just increase the costs (but bear in mind it might become useless or rarely used due to relative to costs, for example: electrification in 3.0 versions of NS)

This is a big thing current versions of NS lack. The onos isn't scary. (ie: "Comm drop me a HMG and a JP so I can solo the onos") MT and SoF are HUGE factors in NS not being scary. Particularly MT. Right now you can rush early MT to basically give your marines wallhacks. Not scary.

Sorry, but <b>ROFL!</b> This would give us a M-Rating for sure but I'd like to have a Lerk or Fade have a "Fatality" attack animation and effect when finishing off a marine with focus with well more damage than what the marine had. Like NS's version of a gib from explosion effect.

Like... a fade's acid rocket or the so called "queen rocket"? Or even suggested alterations to bile bomb?
