This...is way too funny. Somehow, ubermensch is winning this petty argument by allowing everybody else to duke it out among themselves... Then again, he did it just to rabble rouse.
Anyways, hurry up with that meter-long list of complaints...they shouldn't be THAT hard to find, should they? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nerd-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::nerdy::" border="0" alt="nerd-fix.gif" />

Everyone has their own "favorite" version. You can not dispute that. You can not turn to me and say "No Cole, you did NOT have the most fun with 2.0. You are having the most fun right now, okay?"
So..what the eff is wrong with wanting to just take a look backwards at the things that made specific versions FUN, and trying to piece that all together? Nothing this dude is saying is victimistic in any way. He isn't saying "I hate it when I go into pubs and some guy owns me because of _______"
All he is doing is trying to promote a discussion about things that were cool that we've done in previous versions. Thats it.
You all have a favorite version, and I would bet the "majority" of the people posting here would -not- say their favorite is the current version. Or perhaps they would just to be ######. Whatever. Kudos to uberwhateverhisnameis.
Thats all I have to say...continue with the "comedy comedy" random banter.

No one's disputing what he likes better, but why should I part with why I like better? Shouldn't he provide a reason other than "it's just better"?
Honeslty I'm having trouble calling his actions a "promoton of discussion".

Perhaps the crazy Winamp talk was sort of confusing. I don't quite get it myself. But its obvious there are things he liked about a particular version, things you like about a particular version, and things I like about a particular version. Eventually you can sift through opinions and find out facts, as most of whats "balacing" NS today just comes from peoples ideas and opinions and "things they like."
