This is something I have been experimenting on recently and is pretty hilarious to watch when it works.
By far, the best place to try this is on ns_origin in the double res room. You must gain the trust of your team-mates (marines is easier) either by leading them with the voice command "Follow Me" or by using your microphone. Either way, once they are following you around make your way to the double res room. Check to make sure that the elevator is on the top floor. Now, call your team-mates to follow you into the elevator shaft (they will think that the elevator is on the bottom floor if you stand right in the shaft) - wait until everybody is standing on the 'elevator'. Now, call the elevator from the top floor and stand still until it has almost arrived, whereupon you can either die with everybody else or jump out of harm's way.
I have done this a few times and usually I can get about half of a group to stay in the shaft and get crushed by the elevator. If you can catch this on demo without staging it with friends, please post it here for laughs.

ZOMG IVE BEEN TROLLED
The pit in nothing, etc
I've a couple demos kicking around of an 8 man team on a pub repeatedly baconing and jumping in the pit
so? it's only funny when they're being killed against their will

Try lerk lifting a heavy and droping him from an altitude of 750m or off into a pit. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
(to sound bite from Unreal Tournament) HUMILATION!!!
it was kinda amazing how the admins somehow scraped up enough e-dignity to refrain from banning a playtester who was only playing by their rules
hah hah, i remember when lunixmonster was forced to get rid of lerklift cause adj lifting a gorge tore up the marines in every single round and made the server empty like 20 times a day

I don't think LM ever banned a player just for being good amazingly enough. We were kind of used to getting raped due to playing a billion games against civ fading.
TONNES of players got banned for spawncamping with some vague argument that "all good players use the legitimate strategy of spawncamping" though. Kinda makes me wonder why they just didn't impliment spawn invul... especially because they used to ban for putting mines in a hive, 2 second spawn invul = pwned mines.
Locked.
