It's pretty cool but it should gauge other things. Like if I wanted to through the object it'd have to read how evil or bad-ass I feel.
I've seen this also shown at the tech fair but it took brain signals for 'lift left arm' and 'lift right arm' to spell things out on a kind of Ouiga board type thing. I wonder if it could finally be the perfect replacement for the credit card PIN number.
- Okay, that'll be $14.95, sir.
- Thanks. I'd like to pay by card if that's okay.
- Absolutely fine, sir. Just check the amount and think in your PIN for me. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Looks pretty damn cool. I'd love to have a play around with it.

Am I the only gamer who doesn't want to give up his controller and keyboard/mouse? That is mighty cool, though.

Yes I do, carpal tunnel isn't nice.
I imagine row upon row of gamers just staring silently at their monitors. Staring. Unmoving. *shiver*
While this looks awesome. for some reason the only thing I can imagine it doing is making LAN meets *seriously* creepy.

I think a bunch of pimply virgins engauging in a sausagefest is creepy enough.

This reminds me of that meditation-pong game they made several years ago, where you'd push a ball with force in proportion to your calmness.

I beat everyone I played at that until I got so incredibly bored that I intentionally sabotaged myself
your silly brain-controlled videogames are inferior. i can already control everything using the power of my NANITES!

Fixed.
Anyway, if this reaches consumer usability, it opens whole new worlds for technology. I'll be delighted to see where this goes.
