Siege Upgrade Bug On Ns_eclipse

<div class="IPBDescription">Anyone else seen it?</div> Has anyone spotted the un-upgradable turret factory bug that only seems to occur (at least, I've only ever seen it occur there..) on ns_eclipse?

The place it appears to happen most frequently, is above the computer core hive.

    I have never had a problem with siege upgrades. I command very often and eclipse is my favorite map so I try to play it often. But recently I have been commanding a whole lot less.

    yeah its been discussed that eclipse is very unfriendly for upgrading factories. i had a problem getting siege guns at the Eclipse command hive which cost us marines the game.

    It's been discussed and will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

    Hopefully they also fix the bugs on ns_tanith that don't let you set waypoint, place structures, or drop anything on 90% of the map. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    ah great, that bug cost me the map today. Made 3 factorys coudlnt upgrade any of them <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Yep, had this happen to me. my friend was the commander, and couldn't upgrade the factory. So he jumped out of the CC, I jumped in, and low and behold I could upgrade it for him. *shrug*

    Ya, this is the only workaround that I'm aware of for this bug. Works a treat, if you trust the replacement commander.

    Very annoying bug. Up there with the not-being-able-to-build / set orders bug. It's worst when the effected area is the marine starting base. Only way I could get people back to base to build stuff was to shout "HMG + HA @ home base for anyone who builds x"

    I have the exact same problem, I can never select (and thus not upgrade) any structures in and around eclipse hive.

    2 out of 2 times that I have hive-base rushed the Eclipse hive as a Marine, all structures and components were unupgradable. Needless to say, we lost both game brutally even after securing Computer Core both times. Upgrades are the core to Marine dominance.

    I have experienced this on other maps as well, but eclipse is especially unfriendly
