<div class="IPBDescription">The BUS can never die!</div>So, yeah, the title says it all. Has the bus died? If so, what was it? Is it still alive? Is it NS2 material? How many questions can you fit in one paragraph?

    "Under wraps" seems pretty good to me, because that means it's either still a secret or so dead that it has been mummified. My guess is the second, by the way, but who knows. I'd at least like to know what it <i>is</i>.

    But wait a minute. Why do they talk about something unannouced? They shouldn't; it's supposed to be unannounced.

    which means and suggest, this thing is working (like a car or something).

    The only thing about the <b>BUS that ever worked</b> is the fact that:
    -People talk about it.
    -They talk a lot for nothing official exept the name.

    Your claims about the BUS are just as unsubstantiated as the ones you take issue with. In fact, considering Flayra and Co. know more about it than you do, yours are quite possibly even more erroneous.

    Claims? Not really. Use the force luke.

    What substance ? The BUS is just an acronym for now (ever?). It means full of emptyness. As long as <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>NO OFFICIAL</b><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--> information about it comes out: It'll stay like that. Period. Abandonned ( if it ever existed as a project ) or not : why would UW talk about it now? They probably have a lot more usefull things to do for NS2, right now.

    As stated before:
    "They (ppl) talk a lot for nothing official exept the name". It's like "guess what i'm ?". We've seen unbeliavable discussions (even argument) on what the BUS is and what is hidden behind these 3 letters. I didn't see unknownworlds team talk/write a lot about it since the start of it (the rumor ). Ironically they didn't have to. there was a BUS tread poping every minute on the forum <b>2 years ago</b> (1.5 year ??). Everybody was like : "Oh boy! Another BUS thread"... shhh...

    UW didn't communicate on it 2 years ago, why would they now ? It may be disappointing for some, but still, if something comes out, you'll know it by the traditional communication system. This website and/or some other game related websites. So please stop asking for what it is or hoping it comes out (even if you don't know what it is). Have humour, and let it go.

    NEXUS will allow commanders to administer electroshocks on disobedient marines. In order to achieve this NS2 will be able to directly hook into the players mouse driver and increase the voltage on the port that connects the mouse to the PC resulting in a powerful electric surge. This is also why NS2 will feature the following warning in the main menu:

    Actually, for a couple versions now, NS has had two (afaik) unused messages registered in the DLL: 'ProfileInfo' and 'NexusBytes'. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    That talk on the audio entry made it sound like the BUS was still being worked on. I forget whether he called it the BUS or Nexus. Regardless it could have been a throw away joke like "Haha, you're still working on that BUS right Flayra? *wink-wink**nudge-nudge*say-no-more**say-no-more*".
