i have two comps with NS on them, but i need a thrid player to join
other team. anyone know of a bot that might fufill this purpose?

    check out the pinned messages in the general forum.. there used to be two bots listed, but last i saw there was only one bot left.. not the brightest i hear, but it works.

    Yeah, not the brightest, hahahaha...

    I was on a server last night running some bots, a friend and I joined alien after noticing the entire alien team was bots. Unlike most servers that run bots, us connecting and joining alien didn't seem to make them go away. Unfortunatly, both the bots on our side would do nothing but evolve to gorge and build random towers in our first base. They decided to build movement chaimbers, and we had about a dozen of them in our main base with a few offencive chaimbers setup.

    We found that would could 'herd' the gorge bots around by blocking their path off by standing in the way, so we started to lead them into the marine base to get them killed, only to find that they would just gestate back into useless gorges right after they spawned back.

    If you are just wanting to mess around without human players to worry about, then they'll probably be fine, but don't expect to have much fun with the current generation of NS bots.

    I was on a server with bots once. 2 players to a side, all 4 were bots. One marine got itself stuck in a pit in one of the hives, the other managed to wander into a vent and trap itself. One of the aliens was a Gorge just sitting there looking at the marine in the pit, and the Skulk was deperately trying to get through the floor in order to kill the marine which got stuck in a vent.
