Incentive for Killing RTs

Basically, the alien who gets the final bite on a marine RT gets 2 res (or it could be the alien with the most damage to the RT).
RTs are really boring to chomp, but strategically its so, so necessary. Right now its a 'duty' to kill them, meaning its not fun at all, and you're losing out on RFK from the marines you'd be killing if you weren't chomping on an RT.
Two additional res would not affect the economy, and would not make the RT any less boring to chomp. But at least there would be some kind of a reward, and some kind of <i>incentive</i>, making the team naturally act more intelligently.

Well I personally believe that killing marines should yield more res than killing RTs (3 for marine, 2 for rt?) If not, you'd be repairing one thing but completely impairing another. Because then, ALL of the skulks (minus the best) will chew on nodes and there'll be nobody to chew on the marines.
I don't really see this happening. Even if you get more resources from killing an rt it's definitely not more fun than hunting marines. Also hunting marines would yield faster resources unless rt death gave some ridiculous number like 10 res.

Why not make an incentive for killing RTs, what potential imbalance is there? 2 res for a skulk (typically is a skulk) killing an RT or 2 res for the marines that wasted the skulk chomping on their RT. It's seriously how I see a flashing Marine Node... "Oh! Two res, I'll be back commander"
If im saving for hive im the one who only concentrates on rines to get res as fast as possible to set the second hive.
Well if rts would give 3 res (20% of the the rt costs) ppl would weld rts and skulks would bite them!

2 res for killing a marine RT could be contrasted against the time it takes the skulk to complete the task. It takes roughly 40 seconds (dont know exact time). In 40 seconds, a decent 1-hive upgraded skulk has a damn good chance of killing more than one marine. Hence why the best players tend to not kill rts, or at least feel guilty when they are (since that pro fade will take that much longer).
The originial idea was to make it 4 res, but after discussion, we found that 2 res would be much more balanced.
Its just a small amount of incentive that would really help the aliens play more 'properly'.
