You can improve your state of mind all you want with useless fans that add nothing but noise, but at some point you're not going to cool anything more than a degree or two with the addition of extra fans.

My Coolermaster case has 4 fans: 2 front intake, 1 top, 1 back (and psu has 2). But I also have a fan controller AND low noise fans.
list of lownoise case fan brandnames perhaps? Ys-tech, Papst, Coolermaster, Zalman. Just have a look at those, they perform well and are very low noise (especially Papst)

I was thinking... it may not be my case fans.
120's spin slower than 80's, right?
My last case had nearly twice as many casefans, and was quieter.
Which makes me think of my PSU, Heat sink and two GPUs.
My PSU has one 120mm fan, and one 80mm fan, my CPU has an after market heat sink with a 120mm, and I have two Factory OC'd BFG 8800 GTXs. (Overkill, I know, I know!) Would these be the culprits?

I mean, you could either ask a forum whether, hypothetically, the gpu fan could be loud or you could open your case and actually find out.
