I found that CO maps were one of the most popular played maps, because they are fun to play with either a small group of people or a large group; depending on the map of course.

More than likely they would add it but for all i know they could have thought of something even BETTER!

You know, I heard that they're working on a mode that <b>"</b><i>blends first-person combat with real-time strategy</i><b>"</b>, that will feature <b>"</b><i>intense marines vs. aliens teamplay</i><b>"</b>, where one marine can become <b>"</b><i>Commander</i><b>"</b>. Something that sets NS apart from the rest of the pack.

    Wait.

Personally this makes me happy. To me the main attraction of NS was the team based play. Then CO came out and split the fan base enough that it was tough to get enough people in a server to play a round of traditional NS.

Classical maps are fun yes but usually i enjoy playing the Combat mode because i don't have to wit for others to do something so i am able to get a shotgun or an HMG or 3rd hive ability and so on.

I can live without the xmenu sure i can but the only reason i enjoy combat mode is because i can upgrade more than 3 upgrades for aliens and it requires more skill to become top-notch in the game

CO ruined NS in my opinion. I dreaded the day they announced CO as I knew it would detract from the unique style that NS was. If I wanted to play a traditional FPS, I would play CS/DoD. I haven't played NS since the early days of CO because it was so hard to find a good NS only server.
