<div class="IPBDescription">not sure but it's happening.</div> When I join a 1.03 server, I am getting file consistency errors on the shell.mdl file. I am playing with all of the default models from the distribution.
Other than to reinstall, I have no idea. The odd thing is I can't find "shell.mdl" in my NS models directory, so I don't think it exists. Either something odd is happening, or you found a bug, that of which being server consistancy checks for shell.mdl which nobody has...but I'm sure if that was the case it would have been noticed by now.
For some odd reason, there are four model files in the patch release (at least from mirror #3) -- alien1.mdl, alien2.mdl, alien5.mdl, and "shell.mdl". Not pshell, shell. It's different from pshell, and looks, frankly, a lot worse than the rest of the models. Nasty, overstreched texture. Anyway, I've attached shell.mdl for a temp fix. Just put it in the ns/models folder.
