With leaked photos ???
Hugh ? Didn't know they were making a live action movie of Dragon Ball !!!!

Looking at the cast, at least it will not be a C-class movie like the last one. (C-Class as in worst then B-Class).

    Make more topics why don't you <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />

Although James Marsters doesn't need to stoop as low as starring in a crappy movie about a crappy anime.

I looks legit, but low-budget. It's Dragon Ball though... meh I'll pass.

I'm going to borrow some lyrics from REM for a second.

It's the end of the world as we know it. And I'm horribly depressed.

I may have changed a few words to illustrate a point.

Yeah, this is one I'll skip for sure.

Burly shirtless men hitting each other at super speeds was pretty... yeah... even in cartoon form. Live action? Definetly no thanks.

Well wrestling is burly, oiled men wearing tiny speedos slapping and gripping each other, and that seems to have a large audience of men who would otherwise frown on that sort of action. So this film, coming from that angle, should be *huge*.

    But Emmy Rossum? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    I'll sum this movie up.

It will start with two oponents fighting. One of them will start charging an attack. for the next 90 minutes the camera will go back and forth between them while they exchange not so whitty banter with the occational cut to a bystander who will say something meaningless and obvious.

The credits roll and the actuall attack will come in the sequal.

Yeah, but in the sequel it will miss or be deflected and another MORE POWERFUL attack must be rehearsed and charged. Combat efficiency is also measured in numbers that grow for each new character introduced, stopping at no apparent loft.

The movie may be funny(due to silly and corny dialogue and special effects), decent(AKA, the fighting scenes look great, and energy beams are nice), or just bad(live action street fighter movie).

    Street Fighter > Dragonball.

    That is all.

This movie will be so terrible, so very terrible.
    clips

"Um, the character of Goku, an important character to play, uh, been around on kid's cartoons for a while, uh, so I hope I do a good job"
    So very terrible.

Call me a racist, but I would be more comfortable if this is a Japanese production.

How's that racist? It's only racist if you're white, claiming that white people are as capable as people of other skin colours.

Likely Justin Chatwin's best role since being a Teenage Fan in Josie and the ######cats.

[edit] Are you serious? It's the title of a TV show from the 1970s and a 2001 movie. Don't try to pull that "word inside a word so it can't be filtered" crap, either. Saltwater gets through just fine now. It's not bleeped on TV and toddlers say it all the time.

We can always call it Josie and the Vaginacats, I guess. [/edit]

Could be worse. Could be an online baseball game where they censored the word "balls".

I love egoraptor, he makes really funny flash animations. I think that DBZ stuff is his old stuff before he did the awesome series.

If I remember correctly, it's being produced by Stephen Chow (Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle). To which I can only say, 'eyyy'.

Is that 'eyyy' as in Fonzie 'eyyy!' or japanese schoolgirl 'eyyy?'. I think the latter.

Ahh yes, A director famous for over-the-top Chinese comedy producing a big budget adaptation of a Japanese comic is a good idea.
Last time this stuff happened, we get Jackie Chan's City Hunter which rarely resemble the source material. Let's have the guy who's responsible for Final Destination and the truly awful The One directs it also.
