Natural-Selection 2 Modes

I don't know if this has been suggested already (most likely has), for those who would not like this new gameplay into NS2 (The Alien Commander) and like the NS gameplay the way it is, maybe a 3rd gameplay mode for NS2 (That is if CO is being implamented into NS2). NS2 mode - Regular NS2 mode where you have the Alien Commander Features and everything you guys invisioned, CNS mode - Classic NS mode, where Aliens are as they were in NS1 and Marines either as they were in NS1 or still have the same stuff as in NS2 mode, then CO mode - Combat. Just thought I'd through that out here, your game, your decisions, I still play.

Ya, I agree; though I generally play CO I do like the regular NS mode. I'd like to see both modes come out so people can choose which they like best <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

CO...I'm glad it's being removed. It was fun and it might make for good combat training, but there's too much about it that makes it useless in the real game....

Anyways, I'm undecided on this; it would be more work for the devs to include both modes...but if they want to include the classic mode, then hey, whatever.

Not me. CO is great for small games (2v2) while your waiting around for more players.

Very good for training new players on how to use JP etc without risk, (i.e. no res)

I hope that they change their minds closer to the release date as it would also be useful for play testing new abilities and lifeforms.

the dev's confirmed long ago that they will not be making combat or classic, they are making NS2, and thats it.

however they are making it so NS2 can easily be modified with LUA, and i have no doubt that once NS2 is released that a 3rd party will make a version of CO and classic.
