What happened to having to strive to get to the good part of the game? Same goes for song-based games, the song's build-up for a total ass-kicking that the player needs to have some awe-worthy skill to pass. There should be some sort of way to die within the game.
How's the co-op? I'm thinkin' of buying it to play with my friends exclusively. I'll have to try the demo, hope it has the co-op.

Uh, nothing? You can suck at a game without it kicking you out halfway through. If one team is up by 8 runs in baseball by the time the 7th inning rolls around, they don't just quit and go home.
The game simply doesn't have victory conditions, and therefore no losing conditions either. You're not trying to prevent the blue team from taking your capture points, and you're not on a hairspray-fueled quest to kill Sephiroth. You're just trying to get the highest score - if you even care about that.

I keep getting some error about the "Quest3D Viewer" when I try to load the demo.
Restarting Steam fixed it. This game's fun, Toccata and Fugue in Dm was ecstasy but Daft Punk's "Around the World" sucked a lot. This game doesn't like no uhn-tiss.
Gonna try it the first time with some fear factory, wish me luck <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
/e ugh i thought it was free, sux. Hopefully the demo is worth something
By the way, my reasoning was flawed. No victory conditions != no losing conditions. There are games that you can lose, but never win. Pac-man or Space Invaders come to mind. Otherwise, my point stands. The game simply has no losing conditions. Which can be refreshing after having Ellen McLain shout "You fail!" at you for the fifth time that evening.
Too bad the Friends functions seem to be down for me. I am however beating Necro in several songs <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
Hard dance makes the track go like red-red-red-orange-red-red-red-orange-yellow-red-red-orange-blue-blue-purple-REDREDREDREDREDREDREDRED-blue in mono mode.

Restart steam. If that doesn't work, restart your computer. If that doesn't work... I don't know. It did that to me too the first time but then I restarted and all was good.
The good old restart trick. Sometimes you miss the easiest things... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Okay, I've found a few more awesome songs: (I really only play ninja mono on iron-mode, so yeah)
Muse- Hysteria (Crazy fast, lots of colors so tons of possible points. Im trying to get a high-score on this one) Muse- Supermassive Black hole (Fast, and the 'beat' of the music works with the track really well) Marilyn Manson- Be Obscene (Really fast, lots of grey traffic)
What's annoying is that the game refuses to play songs over a certain length. It'll load them fine, until it gets to the last 2 bubbles of the bar, when it then gives an error about the song being too long. The limit's somewhere between 22 and 30 minutes. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

I found it mildly fun but even was getting bored before my 4 free songs ran out in the demo. It just needs something a little more, not sure what though. Great job on the replay value through!

After just playing 'No Cars Go' by The Arcade Fire, I've changed my mind on this game. It's a lot of fun. I must have tried 10 songs before this and they were all really boring.

I think maybe he means it's not so good all at once (like, before you finish four songs you're tired) but you can keep coming back to it again and again and again.

Speaking of fast tracks, "Alphazone - Flashback." Come on people. I want to see some fiercer competition over this one.

Bananaphone

So yeah, no pattern I can discern.
