Hi I have recently started gamming again after a long long break.
opps I posted in the wrong are first sorry.
I used to play Half-Life when it first came out in 1998- 2001. I am pretty sure that I had played the first NS since I played all the HL mods avalible then.
Yes of course now I have played HL2 and some of the HL2 mods
I still like to play HL because my computer is not that great and HL2 takes a long time to load.
(The Point)>>>> I have downloaded NS about 3 times It will not alow play.

I have put my NS folder
C:\SIERA\HALF-LIFE\NS
All my other hk mods will work this way; what is happening, I start HL go to custom game.
activate NS, ok NS screen come on and select done. Now you are in the NS Screen However.
New Game, Training are not a selectable link. ()
I believe I had also tried to install to:
C:\programfiles\valve\steem\steemapps\user@server,com
also I dLed the trainer link I also put this in my ns folder but no change.
Do I need to run this with steem? if so which folder to put it in?
Any Ideas any help?

honestly, just read and follow the directions on the Download page <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/download/" target="_blank">Here</a>
1. Download <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/files/ns/ns_install_v32.exe" target="_blank">Natural Selection 3.2 Final</a>.
2. Open the installer and when prompted, point it to:
...Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\email@email.com\half-life\
3. Install.
4. NS will now be installed in ...Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\email@email.com\half-life\ns\ and you can launch it through Steam.
I have been reading more of the newer HL1 games and it seems that many are directly related to steem.
The others also ask that you instal the game mod folder into your steem files;

Does my Half-Life 1, My original HL now get installed within the (Steem folders?)
If yes
I have HL2 I bought it in 2004 I have installed in this directory
C:\valve\steem
Now will I also want to install my HL1 original from 1998 to;
C;\valve\Steam\SteamApps\email@email.com\half-life

sorry I guess I got old and have more things going on and can't just spend all the time I used to.
