Hi I have recently started gamming again after a long long break.

I used to play Half-Life when it first came out in 1998- 2001. I am pretty sure that I had played the first NS since I played all the HL mods avalible then.
Yes of course now I have played HL2 and some of the HL2 mods
I still like to play HL because my computer is not that great and HL2 takes a long time to load.

(The Point)>>>> I have downloaded NS about 3 times It will not alow play.

I have put my NS folder
C:\SIERA\HALF-LIFE\NS

All my other hk mods will work this way; what is happening, I start HL go to custom game.
activate NS, ok NS screen come on and select done. Now you are in the NS Screen However.
New Game, Training are not a selectable link. (<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />)

I believe I had also tried to install to:
C:\programfiles\valve\steem\steemapps\user@server,com

Any Ideas any help?

    Should help you out.

    If you have the cd version and your cd key you can register that with steam.

    I think steem sucks bananas what do they think this is a national secret? or maybe gold? wow it is just a game.

    It did suck bananas way back with loads of connection issues, but now it is quite tolerable with stable servers. Compare this to Company of Heroes, where they crash about every evening when you're playing a 1-3 hour long game and can't play anymore because the servers are down. THEY are the ones atm, who need to get their ######e together.
