Alien ground control

seems that alot of ppl are not happy with alien's slightly disadv in ground control - ie: u must have a <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pudgy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::gorge::" border="0" alt="pudgy.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hive5.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::hive::" border="0" alt="hive5.gif" /> to hold this place. so thats at least 20-30 res worth of creatures just to hold a place with out OCs, also with the issue of turtle rines. but most of all I posted this idea in the wrong forums so go nuts <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> here's my take on it.
creeper (tentacle blob monster thing? it's not a SC lurker... >_>; )
role: ground control
inherent: cloaking on dynamic infestation(DI), close/mid range SoF on DI
1. infestation spray - seeds dynamic infestation, very weak damage, interrupts reloading (ie: forces knife use in a extended fight)
2. tentacle grasp* causes DI closest to target to engage in a grasping attack for low damage - with slowing effect (stacking) tentacles can be removed by support gunfire. If this attack is stacked to a certain level the target will became completely immobile.
3. digest - opponent must be immobile or not moving for x seconds on DI- cocoons the target in DI, and digests for +RES
5. shape DI - allows limited DI manipulation- possible siege function?
6. reanimate - reanimates dead marine bodies on DI into brainless zombies! rarrrr
back ground - a node strain of the hive this creature has evolved to gain independent thought over time, primarily as a defensive node and builder of the hive the strain went mostly undetected due to it's inherent cloaking making it indistinguishable from DI. After reports from marine survivors of tentacle creatures, the strain was finally tracked down and isolated in a raid on a infested space station.
I was thinking may be the <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pudgy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::gorge::" border="0" alt="pudgy.gif" /> can lay down DI, but then it occurred to me that it would need at least 1 extra ability at least just to make use of that DI so out popped this idea. C&C?

say a gorge can block certain path with DI or at least make it harder to walk through.
however the zombie thing is out of place
but would be very fun to pick off stray marines that walk into di ^^ and slowly kill them hrhrhr
how about steering di onto objects/areas where it can acquire "food" so its growth will be boosted, like eating marines/buildings/certain props. maybe manually connecting the di with resnodes could boost it? leech res off of marine rt? help gather res for alien rt?
if there will be bodies in ns2, which im all for, the di could feed on them (consume them). maybe gain some res out of it? maybe it can use bullets shot into it somehow?
i think the suggested creature should be able to like flow fast inside the di, like a transportation system, maybe it could be BOUND to the di, that would be cool. but would not be fun if rines cut off a di piece with the creature in it, so maybe it cant live long outside of di?
i believe that there's still time to do changes...harharhar
forgive my spelling <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> .
